However, that accuracy deserted him thereafter as Jonathan Becher gradually took over and rattled off the next two sets 6-3, 6-3.

Robert Doe (CURTC) v Dominic Tomlinson<\/p><\/div>Power hitting was much in evidence in a highly entertaining match as Robert Doe took on Dominic Tomlin in the final singles rubber. Again a Cambridge player notched up a comfortable first set win (6-2 this time) but was pegged back by a fine recovery by Dominic (6-4). Robert held his nerve to win his inter club debut with a 6-5 final set.<\/p>\n
